York Distillery is one of York's most distinctive private hire venues.
Set in the grounds of Middleton's Hotel on Skeldergate, right in the heart of the city, it combines a beautiful speakeasy-style interior with working copper gin stills, a fully stocked private bar and a warm, intimate atmosphere that makes any occasion feel special.

The space seats up to 28 guests and stands up to 40, making it ideal for private parties, hen parties, corporate events, team days, wedding
drinks receptions, product launches and private tastings. We welcome groups from four people upwards and are happy to discuss exactly what you need.

What makes York Distillery genuinely different is the range of experiences we can offer alongside or as part of your event. Private
hosted gin tastings for up to 28 guests, make-your-own gin sessions on our eight copper stills for up to 16 (or 24) guests, and private cocktail making parties for up to 20 guests can all be incorporated. Personalised engraved bottles are available for weddings and corporate gifts.

Excellent food can be delivered directly from the Middleton's Hotel kitchen. External caterers can also be accommodated on request.
