The Old Spence Café has been a community gathering space from morning to late afternoon for years with easy access just off the tramline and a prominent setting in the heart of Leith. The building itself has stories to tell, originally serving the general public as a father-son-owned hardware store called Spence and Spence.

Now, run by a Scottish-Italian duo, the space with its big historic windows and cosy atmosphere is available into the evening as a versatile event venue. Celebrate milestones, hold monthly book clubs and game nights, host pop-up shops for side-hustles and workshops, offer evening yoga classes - the sky is truly the limit.

Fee: Single dry hire fee for the entire evening.
Location: 40-42 Queen Charlotte Street, Edinburgh, EH6 6AT.
Access: Enter venue at 17:30 (after café closure ). Depart venue at 22:00.
Drinks: BYOB.
Catering: We offer an evening catering menu. Venue bookings receive 10% their first catering order.
