Sumei Studios is a modern lifestyle studio based in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, on the edge of Birmingham city centre.
Our space is perfect for content creation, e-commerce shoots, events, pop ups, workshops, podcasts, meetings, private dinners + the list goes on!
Our interiors will complement any vision, whether it’s content creation, social events or strictly business. We provide the perfect blank canvas for all your needs.

Stone effect floors, limewash walls and large windows are the stand out features of our space.
We offer a range of furniture such as sofas, armchairs and large mirrors. Smaller features include plants, vases and fashion books.
We also have a dedicated e-commerce area with an off-white microcement backdrop, as well as white, black and nude paper backdrops and professional lighting.

From the city centre?
New Street station: 19 minute walk / 5 minute drive.
Snow Hill station: 14 minute walk / 4 minute drive.
Moor Street station: 25 minute walk / 10 minute drive.
Taxis are readily available outside all stations.
By train or tram?
The Jewellery Quarter train and tram station is just a 8 minute walk from the studio. The trains cover a lot of the West Midlands. The West Midland Metro operates between New Street station and Wolverhampton.
By bus?
The Jewellery Quarter is accessible from the city centre via the following NX Bus routes – 8A, 8C and 101 (stops closest to Warstone Lane) also the 16, 74 buses (stops on Great Hampton Street).
By car?
The Jewellery Quarter is well-signposted from the city centre via the brown tourist signs. From the north-west / north-east – take the M6 or M1. From the south-west / south-east – take the M40 or M5.
Please note: our space is not soundproof and is located inside of a larger building. We do not have control over any potential noise disturbances.

Yes, external catering is permitted; however, take care with the soft furnishings.
A Bluetooth speaker is provided; external sound systems may be brought.
No, furniture cannot be removed, but the space is open and items can be moved around.
Yes, the venue has speakers available for use.
Cancellations 30 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 30 days to 7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 7 days are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
