About this space

The Time Gallery is an escape-game venue defined by immersive, hand-built period sets that recreate detailed interior scenes.

Design: The interiors use dark wood, vintage furniture, stacked bookshelves, maps and Persian-style rugs under low, directional lighting. The scale feels compact and theatrical, with layered surfaces and tactile props designed for hands-on interaction.

Features: On-site game masters brief groups, monitor sessions and provide in-game hints. The venue provides Wi‑Fi, a PA system and speakers and allows guests to play their own music. The space includes wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking an active, team-focused social experience that is collaborative, puzzle-driven and informal.

What sets it apart: The venue houses five distinct escape games, each built around a different era of Chicago history.

What guests say: The game hosts are consistently attentive and energetic during introductions and gameplay. The puzzles are well designed, delivering a balance of challenge and attainability while staff provide helpful mid-game guidance.
