Backroom at AJ Hudson's Public House

About this space

Backroom, a private room in AJ Hudson's Public House, is a compact rear pub space organised around social seating and group viewing.

Design: The room has dark wood flooring, low ceilings with patterned panels, and green-shaded hanging lights over the central area. Framed sports memorabilia and dark-painted walls create an intimate, clubby interior with mixed booth and bar seating.

Features: The room includes multiple wall-mounted TVs for game viewing and a combination of banquette, high-top and small round tables. The room provides Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, a PA system with speaker connections, permission for an outside DJ or own music, and a step-free guest entrance with wheelchair access.

Ideal for: Groups seeking an informal, social space for game viewing and casual drinks in a private pub setting.

What sets it apart: A dedicated pool table occupies the centre of the room and is available for exclusive use by the booking party.

What guests say: The space is lively and welcoming with attentive, friendly staff and a reliably buzzy atmosphere for watching matches.
