About this space
Built within the lobby of the historic Jackson Storage and Van Company, the Cabaret’s intimate appeal is apparent when you first enter the building. Equipped with its own sound system and small stage, the venue’s highlights include the building’s original water fountain and walk-in safe, along with seating enough to house up to fifty-three people. The space is perfect for small neighborhood gatherings, concerts, and shows.

Theatre Y Ground Rules
The following guidelines apply to all events held at Theatre Y. Please read carefully and direct any/all questions or concerns to Dan Christmann (Dan.Christmann@theatre-y.com) or other staff.
Capacity
No more than 99 people may be present in the building, regardless of which space(s) they occupy, at any time. TY Security may be required to manage the door while guests are present.
Ticketing and Soliciting
Absolutely no ticket sales or admission charges for any events are allowed, regardless of performance or event type. This includes the sale of individual items (e.g., artwork, jewelry, records, beverages, food etc.). Those in violation of this policy will be subject to cancellation (if found prior to the event) or a non-negotiable $1,000 charge (if found after the event). Additionally, early closure of an in-progress event shall be required.
Soliciting donations from attendees is allowed (as long as it’s not required for admission). Further clarification or guidance, if needed, should be sought by contacting Dan.
Smoking
No smoking in the building.
Alcohol
Alcohol is welcome, either through a licensed caterer or via a BYOB situation.
Children and Animals
All ages welcome. Children must be supervised at all times. Pets are allowed if kept on leash or otherwise contained.
Decor and Equipment
All Theatre Y furniture, decorations, artwork, and equipment must remain in their current configurations unless you receive prior consent. We welcome all kinds of decorations: simply check with one of our staff members!
Cancellation policy: Standard 30 day with Grace Period
