White Shades began its rebranding from a four-storey into a two-storey cocktail playground. In 2026 it was reshaped into two focused rooms: Shards, a pared-back living-room bar built on the Japanese idea of kintsugi — mending what's broken — and Lumina, a breezy rooftop built for groups, skylines and long nights. Same address, same team, two different moods.
Shards has the feel of a laid-back living room, with a simple setup that keeps the focus on the drinks and the details. A colour-changing skylight shifts the atmosphere in the evening, while cocktails are served from a clean white counter and the menus are finished with hand-burnt edges.
Lumina sits on the rooftop and takes things in a more open, social direction. With cocktails on tap, slushies, draft beer and skyline views, it works well for larger groups looking for a casual place to settle in for drinks.
