Capacity: The main dining room seats up to 80 guests comfortably.
Bookings: Group bookings and private hire must be confirmed in advance with a signed booking agreement and deposit.
Minimum Spend: A minimum spend may apply for private hire or large group reservations—please enquire for details.
Decorations: Table decorations are welcome, but please no confetti, glitter, or items requiring wall fixtures unless agreed in advance.
External Catering: No outside food or drink permitted, with the exception of celebration cakes (subject to prior approval).
Music & Entertainment: Background music is provided. Live entertainment or amplified sound must be agreed upon in advance and may be subject to local licensing restrictions.
Alcohol: All alcohol must be purchased and consumed on-site. We are fully licensed to serve alcohol.

The Olive Tree sits just a few minutes from York Minster. It’s a local Italian family-run spot. The food is straight to the point. Pasta is fresh. Pizza comes out with a bit of crisp around the edge, just right.
Inside of the venue feels relaxed. Wooden chairs, plain tables, low light. Wines are Italian.
