About this space

The Strauss Suite is a Function Room in The County Hotel and is a traditionally furnished private dining room characterised by formal period character.

Design: The room displays Victorian detailing, high cornices, a central chandelier, heavy drapery and patterned carpet that give it formal proportions. Red-upholstered dining chairs and dark-wood cabinets complete a restrained, traditional palette.

Features: The Strauss Suite includes Wi‑Fi and an in-room PA/speaker system, and the venue permits own music and external DJs subject to a noise restriction. The suite has air conditioning, step-free access and nearby accessible toilets, and staff can arrange tables and formal dining seating.

Ideal for: Small executive or private social groups seeking a polished, seated dining experience or a formal meeting in a traditional setting.

What sets it apart: A deep bay of tall sash windows that bring abundant natural light and street views.
