About this space
Originally the Males Second Class Pool, the Sports Hall is now a covered space that holds up to 400, with seating and standing options, as well as room for extra seating or production on the balcony. We also have our bar situated in here, which is run by Victoria Baths staff and included within the hire.

About Victoria Baths Trust
Since opening in 1906, Victoria Baths has become a cherished Manchester institution. Originally designed as a swimming pool, wash-house and Turkish Baths complex, the buildings are now partly restored and functioning as a cultural hub and event venue. The Grade II*-listed Edwardian Building currently has a visitor capacity of 1000 and has been widely recognised as the most prestigious municipal public baths in the country.
Our spaces can be adapted to meet the needs of a wide range, all set within the glorious surroundings of an original Art Nouveau interior.
If you’d like to make the beautiful building even more of a feature, we can offer guided tours as an enjoyable addition for your guests and clients.
All profits from event hire are donated to the Victoria Baths Trust, supporting the work of keeping the building open and contributing towards the ongoing repairs and maintenance of this special place.
