"The event ended up being a huge success, and Band on the Wall was a big part of that."
- Xena Sep 2026
Main Venue, the Event Space in Band on the Wall, is a purpose-built live-music auditorium defined by a raised performance platform and balcony sightlines.
Design: The interior uses dark-painted walls, exposed ceiling beams and metal detailing for a compact, focused layout. The room has low, layered lighting and a rectangular floorplate that keeps sightlines tight and the audience area enclosed.
Features: The room includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning to support event production and guest comfort. The hire permits own music and bring-your-own DJs and supports in-room audio connections. The space is wheelchair accessible and provides accessible toilets and a step-free guest entrance.
Ideal for: Promoters, bands and production teams staging standing-room live-music nights or energetic social gatherings in an intimate, performance-focused setting.
What sets it apart: Professional-grade sound engineering delivers consistently clear, balanced acoustics across the listening area.
What guests say: The space has excellent sound quality and professional, attentive staff. The room remains comfortable and avoids overcrowding even on busy nights.

We had such a fantastic experience hosting the TBR Book Festival at Band on the Wall, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a more supportive venue and team. From the very beginning, the correspondence and communication were brilliant. Laura was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire process. As this was my first time organising an event of this scale, there were naturally lots of questions, planning and a few nerves along the way, but she was always incredibly encouraging, patient and helpful. One thing I particularly appreciated was how accommodating Laura was when it came to visiting the venue beforehand. She allowed me to come in whenever I needed to look at the space, work through layouts and get a better understanding of how everything would come together. I never felt like I was being a nuisance, and having that flexibility made such a difference when organising the event. On the day itself, the team were equally brilliant. The manager was extremely helpful, particularly with getting the PA system set up and making sure we had what we needed. Communication remained excellent throughout the entire day, and whenever I had a question or needed assistance, somebody was there to help. The event ended up being a huge success, and Band on the Wall was a big part of that. The venue worked brilliantly for what we wanted to create, but more importantly, the people behind it made the whole experience so much easier. Organising an event involves so many moving parts, and having a venue team that communicates well, encourages you and genuinely wants your event to succeed is invaluable. A massive thank you to Laura, the manager and everyone at Band on the Wall for helping make the TBR Book Festival such a special day. I’m incredibly grateful for all of your support and would absolutely recommend the venue to anyone looking for somewhere to host their event. Thank you so much!
The only slight downside was that parking directly at the venue is limited, which can make loading and unloading a little more challenging for a larger event. However, there are several car parks nearby, so with a little forward planning it was completely manageable and certainly didn’t take away from our overall experience.
