About this space

Sports Bar, Bar in Escape To Freight Island. A semi-enclosed, social bar area within the venue's food-hall that centres on a communal, informal layout.

Design: The space presents an industrial, warehouse-style interior with exposed brickwork, dark ceiling timbers and coloured lighting. The low, open-plan proportions combine mixed-height seating and standing areas for an informal feel.

Features: A PA system and fixed speakers support on-site music and allow hosts to bring their own DJ or play their own soundtrack. Pool tables and multiple large screens provide social gaming and live-sport viewing, and the area contains a staffed bar counter plus mixed low and high seating. Wi‑Fi is available and the space has air conditioning for climate control during hires.

Ideal for: Friend groups and informal social clubs seeking a relaxed, standing-or-seated space for watching sport and casual socialising.

What guests say: The space is lively and often busy during events, making it well suited to evening, social gatherings.
