About this space

Turkish Hot Room, an Event Space in Victoria Baths Trust; a compact, intact Edwardian Turkish-bath chamber that retains its original period architectural character.

Design: The space reads as a short axial chamber framed by successive archways and a pronounced central arch surround. The finish palette pairs pale cream wall surfaces with a deep green band and moulded cornices, set above a terrazzo-style floor in a formal, symmetrical arrangement.

Features: The room includes an installed PA system and speakers and permits guests to play their own music or bring a DJ. Wi‑Fi is available for organisers. A step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets provide level access for attendees.

Ideal for: Small community groups or creative teams seeking an intimate, relaxed setting for seated talks or informal standing receptions.

What sets it apart: An original overhead glazed rooflight that floods the chamber with daylight.

What guests say: The Turkish Hot Room displays notable period finishes, decorative fixtures and stained-glass features that contribute to a strong sense of historical character.
