About this space

Females Pool is an Event Space in Victoria Baths; its most distinctive quality is an intact Edwardian swimming-hall architecture.

Design: The hall presents a vaulted glazed roof above a long, rectilinear floor flanked by two tiers of ornate tiled changing booths and timber balustrades. Stained-glass windows and patterned ceramic tiling punctuate the walls and fill the interior with natural light.

Features: A built-in PA system and speakers are available, and hosts may bring their own DJ or play their own music. Wi‑Fi and abundant natural daylight are provided. A step-free guest entrance, wheelchair access and accessible toilets are included.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a dramatic, period interior are best suited to standing receptions and relaxed, social gatherings.

What guests say: The space attracts an admiring atmosphere around its period detailing. Staff presence is welcoming and attentive, and the interior's colours present strongly after dusk.
