About this space

The Filter & Laundry Room is a private outdoor space at Victoria Baths Trust that preserves exposed Edwardian service‑yard architecture as a historic, industrial backdrop.

Design: The space presents raw industrial character through exposed brickwork, cast‑iron columns and visible pipework beneath tall windows that admit natural light. Original tiling and high structural ceilings remain evident, emphasising the building's service‑yard proportions.

Features: The space includes a PA system and speakers and permits external music and bring‑your‑own DJs. The space provides on‑site Wi‑Fi, natural daylight and step‑free guest access, together with accessible toilets.

Ideal for: The space suits informal, music‑forward standing receptions and relaxed social gatherings that prioritise atmosphere and movement over formal seating.

What guests say: The space communicates its industrial history and restored fabric, making architectural details easy to explore. The space benefits from welcoming, attentive on‑site staff.
