The service was fantastic. The staff were so attentive and helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. The food was delicious (especially the scones) all guests who attended agreed the afternoon tea was one of the nicest ones they have had. The space we hired was ideal for the party as it was private and quiet. The table was all set and ready for us when we arrived, which was fantastic. The setting of the venue was ideal as easy to reach as central location near Haymarket.

We felt really looked after by the staff who checked that with the warmer weather we were still ok with our room choice, offered alternatives, let us arrange decorations, and served us our drinks and afternoon teas. The venue itself was gorgeous and we felt so lucky to feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. A little sanctuary in the city centre!
I didn't like having to pay the full cost up front as one of our party took ill and didn't make it meaning we had an additional afternoon tea that went to waste.

They were very accommodating to our requests, and they were very helpful at all times including with the setting up of our ceremony and attending to us and our guests while we were there. The reception space and ceremony area were perfect. The conservatory is a lovely space for holding a ceremony, surrounded by nature.
We ordered canapés which were a bit underwhelming and a very small amount for the high price paid, and were presented spread out on a single tray rather than on plates. It would’ve been nicer if they were put out on a table with individual plates so guests could take a plate for themselves.
