We hired the Broughton Suite for 40 guests, cabaret style for a research outreach workshop event. There was great communication pre-event, the staff were responsive, informative and very helpful, answering all questions we had via email in a timely manner. The venue itself was reasonably priced, the room itself was lovely and set up perfectly well in advance of our arrival let alone our guests. We had tea, coffee and water. There was a selection of different teas available, coffee including decaf, both whole milk and soya milk. The crockery was clean and well set up and the drinks were refreshed at a time we pre-arranged with the venue before the day. The projection was large, the speaker had a table and clicker and the room acoustics were good. Staff on the day went over and above. They were kind and helpful and attentive to all of our needs.
