About this space

The Main Room at Why Not features a large central dance floor with four on looking luxurious dance floor party booths, state of the art sound system and a custom-built lighting rig called "The Grid" which comprises of x60 pixel bars which are controlled remotely via Madrix and iPad Pro.

The Main Room can be transformed from a Dancefloor to a conference or meeting space, and even a dining space for groups of up to 100.

About WhyNot Nightclub

You can find us beneath The Dome bar and restaurant on Edinburgh's famous George Street. We were the first nightclub to open on George Street street back in 1997 and since then a lot has changed. Since our major refurbishment in 2013, we have won eleven awards at some of the country's biggest events including The SLTN Awards, the Scottish Entertainment Awards and the Best Bar None Awards.

There's something for everyone at Why Not with five large cocktail bars, luxurious dance floor party booths, Edinburgh's biggest outdoor late-night garden, and Scotland's only full LED room.
