The Atrium is an Event Space in the Informatics Forum, a double-height glass-fronted space that fills the interior with abundant natural daylight.
Design: The space has an open-plan footprint, stone-effect tiled flooring and plain white walls punctuated by timber panelling at the entrance. The ceiling is tall with pendant fixtures and the furniture is modular café-style to allow flexible layouts.

- Damage to the space will result in an extra charge
- Availability is conditional on the event not disrupting normal activities or potentially damaging the building or reputation, as deemed by the Events team.
- The Informatics Forum does not provide stationery items, secretarial support, photocopying, printing facilities, internet, open access computing, or technical services to external users. Audiovisual facilities may be demonstrated to users, but ongoing support is not provided. However, the Events Team reserves the right to determine what support can be offered on a case-by-case basis.
- All events must adhere to the Health and Safety guidance. This includes obtaining approved event risk assessments.
- Only approved contractors may provide catering within the Forum. Details are available from the Informatics’ Events Team.
