About this space

The Jam House is a live-music bar that specialises in intimate jazz, blues and rock performances and places close-up shows at the heart of its programme.

Design: Dark timber and exposed brick create a compact interior centred on a curtained performance area, punctuated by coloured stage lighting and an open bar visible from the audience.

Features: A professional PA system and house speakers support amplified bands and live acts. On-site Wi‑Fi and air conditioning provide practical comfort for guests and crew. Accessible facilities include a step‑free guest entrance and accessible toilets, and the venue permits own-music playback or a brought DJ subject to house noise restrictions.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a lively, music-led evening that favours mingling and standing reception-style socialising over formal, highly structured dining.

What sets it apart: A three-storey Georgian interior that combines tiered performance levels with a top-floor restaurant.

What guests say: The venue's live music is regularly praised for strong, engaging performances and an energetic atmosphere.
