We know it can be difficult to keep up with all the COVID-19 related regulations, especially when it comes to what kinds of events can take place and how many guests are allowed. To help you better understand, we have prepared a summary to update you on the most current safety rules that apply to venues. General venue operation and event hosting guidelines

  • The density requirement of 3 person per 4 square metres applies for all defined public activities
  • The maximum number of attendees at a place of business will be determined by its size
  • Where businesses may now open, some restrictions apply
    • No shared utensils may be provided in the course of providing the service of any food or beverages
    • No communal food or beverage service areas may operate, this includes buffets, salad bars or sauce dispensers

Weddings

  • The maximum number of people permitted is defined by the density provision of 3 people per 4 square metres
  • Communal food or beverage service areas (such as buffets or salad bars) are not permitted
  • Dancing and singing are permitted
