Tiki 33 Bar is an Asian-inspired tiki cocktail bar that pairs dim sum-style small plates with whisky-led cocktails and a compact, retro street-side character.
Venue highlights: The bar provides in-house catering and runs promoted or ticketed nights, giving hosts options for food-led private events. The bar's karaoke system is available for private events and supplies a ready-made entertainment option for parties. The long, narrow layout and timber flooring keep groups close and make front-of-house service easily coordinated.
Best for: Cocktail-led receptions, birthday parties with karaoke, and casual group dinners centred on shared Asian small plates.
Location: Newtown offers a dense mix of bars, independent restaurants and late-night eateries along King Street, giving guests plenty of nearby options to continue the evening.
What guests say: The venue maintains consistently clean, cosy interiors and a relaxed atmosphere suited to small private gatherings. The venue provides consistent food and drink quality and friendly, attentive service for group bookings.
The venue provides basic sound equipment and a DJ setup.
The bottom bar can be used as the starting point for food and drinks, with guests then moving upstairs for dancing.
