We shot our short film at SFJ Cafe because we loved the beautiful cozy look of the cafe. When we got there, Harry and the team were absolutely amazing - treated our little cast and crew like family and went out of their way to accommodate us. Delicious food and great coffees too! So thankful to Harry and the team, we'll be back for more shoots and would highly recommend SFJ Cafe for any kind of shoot or production in Sydney!!
The team at SJ Cafe and Coffee were extremely helpful, responsive and accommodating from the time of my initial enquiry through to the day of the event. The menu suited all dietary requirements and was tasty and fresh. The space was intimate and ideal for our relatively small group. The staff were super friendly, thoughtful and efficient and helped our event run smoothly. We thoroughly recommend SJ Cafe for your next event.
Harry is very responsive and friendly. He connected me with the Manager of the cafe to coordinate our event and the catering. So helpful.

We are more than just a cafe and we believe in the power of bringing like-minded people together to create a positive impact. That is why since 21st September 2020 we've been using Recycle Me takeaway cups which are 100% recyclable. Moreover, we support Sydney artists by organizing the SJF Art Gallery - every 6 weeks we showcase the creatives of people that we believe in. 10% of all art proceeds go to Amnesty International to help those less fortunate than us. On Fridays, we are playing Sydney-only music to support our sonic artists too.
Here you’ll find options for meat lovers, vegetarians & vegans. We change our menu every month to keep it fresh and exciting for you and all produce is sourced locally & seasonally to support local farmers.
