Wharf 7 at Australian National Maritime Museum
About this space
Wharf 7 is a gallery at the Australian National Maritime Museum, set on the harbour and surrounded by historic wooden vessels from the Sydney Heritage Fleet. Its exhibition setting and waterside location provide a distinctive backdrop for smaller private and corporate events.
Design:
The gallery has a high vaulted ceiling, exposed steel trusses, timber-slatted wall panels and a polished concrete floor. Full-scale vessels, tall sails and a glass-fronted mezzanine shape the space, while natural light highlights its architectural details.
Features:
Catering is provided by Sydney Restaurant Group, and behind-the-scenes tours can be arranged. Wharf 7 is also accessible by water.
Ideal for:
Intimate dinners, cocktail parties, boutique receptions and informal seated events looking for an architectural gallery with maritime character and harbour access.
