About this space

HMAS Vampire is a retired Royal Australian Navy destroyer available for exclusive events at the Australian National Maritime Museum. Moored in Darling Harbour, the vessel offers open upper decks and a helipad with waterfront and city skyline views.

Design:
The ship retains its original naval character, with painted steel surfaces, exposed fittings, narrow passageways and low headroom in some enclosed areas. The outdoor decks provide an alfresco setting with plenty of natural light and direct views across the harbour.

Features:
The venue includes a private bar and optional guided tours can be arranged. The layout combines open deck areas with enclosed compartments for a mix of standing and seated use.
