About Flayr FX Podcast Productions

Flayr FX Podcasting Studio is a venue built for podcasting and various audio production requirements. This is not a fully fit out sound studio and as such it does not have sound proofing. It's a home studio run by Jamie Steedman, the founder of Flayr FX Films. Although it is not sound proofed, the studio is located on a very quiet side street in Edinburgh so recording audio is always uninterrupted.
The studio is fully functional and set up to provide professional audio recording services. Podcasts can be recorded between 2 people currently, so a guest and a host. Recording is done through professional studio condenser microphones and podcast video is recorded on 3 separate cameras in the studio. Various audio recording sessions such as for documentary voice overs can also be facilitated, or film productions with music beds.
Recording can be done as dry hire through a guest login to operate the software (OBS Studio and Logic Studio) or with an audio engineer present taking care of the recording. Full post-production services can be hired as part of the service, editing, sound mixing and grading the final shows with music and graphics. Recorded internet streams can be done remotely onto studio backgrounds also into the studio if the preference is not to come to the studio.

Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 1 months from the original date, at no cost.
