Welcome to Birmingham Settlement’s Nature & Wellbeing Centre! We are a unique eco-friendly venue located in an amazing 3-acre area full of greenery next to Edgbaston Reservoir. Our location is not far from the city centre of Birmingham and our venues provide a peaceful and natural environment ideal for small and intimate gatherings or large-scale events.
You can pick from our functional and flexible places: two large geodesic domes, outdoor amphitheatre, Stretch Tent, Nature Zone, and the iconic Red Shed - a cafe area with catering options. This city retreat surrounded by trees, nature and with view of the water provides a peaceful space for Away Days, workshops, wellbeing sessions and social events, training, community and family gatherings.
Perfect for a yoga session in nature, a corporate away day, a community gathering, or a creative workshop, our flexible spaces have a friendly atmosphere that is perfect for making connections and memorable experiences.
We can provide facilitated corporate and charity Away Days with the aim to motivate, energise and connect your team. We can offer you mindfulness, yoga, archery, bushcraft around the campfire, team-building challenges and nature-friendly volunteering, and together we will make experiences that are memorable and impactful. We can tailor bespoke programmes to meet your requirements - just ask for them.

Every booking directly supports our mission around environmental action and climate resilience, helps us to take care of urban green areas and to provide opportunities for nature connection and environmental learning.

Yes, external catering is permitted; loud music should be kept considerate of neighbours because the venue is in a residential area.
Yes, there are plug sockets in the domes so an urn or kettle can be used to prepare hot drinks.
The venue is an outdoor space with geodesic domes rather than a traditional restaurant; photos of the site can be viewed to assess suitability.
Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.
Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
Event date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date within 3 months from the original date, at no cost.
