About this space

Private Back Room, a Function Room in Longhorn Icehouse, is a casual, bar-style private room that preserves the venue's lively sports-bar character.

Design: Exposed brick walls, a low ceiling and a polished concrete floor create a stripped-back industrial bar aesthetic. Scattered round wooden tables and dark slatted chairs form an open, flexible layout that leaves a clear central area.

Features: In-room Wi‑Fi and air conditioning provide practical comfort during events. The room includes step-free access and accessible toilets. Fixed round tables and stackable chairs allow a quick change between seated arrangements and a cleared mingling area.

Ideal for: Mid-sized social groups seeking an informal space for seated dining or lively standing receptions.

What sets it apart: A dedicated PA and permission to bring an external DJ let hosts run DJ-led music or live entertainment tailored to their event.

What guests say: The private back room is well adorned and features distinctive Oxford-style red chairs.
