We would like our fellow artists to concentrate on their craft while we provide the right tools, so they have one less thing to worry about. All equipment is free of charge to use when you book our space. Building trust and relationships are what we value. If you need assistance, we are happy to lend a helping hand. There is a pantry area with a 450L fridge and a microwave.

There will be a one-time surcharge of $100 for rentals between 7 pm and 9 am.
The rental time includes load-in, setup, test shoot, makeup, wrap time, and cleaning. The studio is to be cleaned and vacated punctually in its original state, at the end of the session.
Extension of booking is subject to availability.
Overtime will be calculated hourly beyond booking end-time of rental period when the Hirer is either still using, packing up or cleaning the studio.
A fee of $30 will be charged if backdrops are returned in an excessively dirty condition.
Hirer must keep the studio, equipment, and support areas clean and dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided. A minimum cleaning fee of $100 will be withheld from the security deposit if the studio is not returned in its original clean, ready state for the next hirer.
Storage of items is subject to availability. A storage fee of $50 per day will be imposed should the Hirer decide to store their props or equipment at Lightonboard.
No access to the mezzanine level or a fine of $500 will be imposed.

The studio rental includes access to the space and equipment, but lighting is not pre-set because this depends on the shoot requirements, such as mood, style and reference images.
