About this space

City PeraMakan is a Peranakan restaurant occupying a compact, linear dining room; its defining quality is an intimate, communal layout organised around shared tables.

Design: The interior pairs white-painted walls and patterned encaustic-style floor tiles with light timber tables and cane-back chairs. The ceiling is exposed and painted black, and woven rattan pendant lamps hang over the tables to provide concentrated pools of light.

Features: The space has movable round and rectangular tables and several rotating serving platters (lazy Susans) that support family-style dining. The venue benefits from natural light and full air-conditioning, and the layout can be reconfigured for different table plans.
