The Light Loft – House Rules
General Rules
1. Respect the Space – Please treat the studio and equipment with care. Leave the space as you found it.
2. No Smoking in the building please.
3. No Open Flames – Candles, sparklers, and any fire-related props are not allowed due to risk of fire.
4. Keep Noise Levels Considerate – The studio is not soundproof, so please be mindful of noise levels to respect neighbouring businesses. We have a bluetooth speaker and music is fine at an appropriate level.
Booking & Time Management
- Set-Up & Pack-Up Time – Your booking includes set-up and pack-up time. If you need extra time, please book accordingly.
- No Early Entry or Overstaying – Please only arrive 5 minutes before your booking and late without prior arrangement may result in additional charges.
Equipment & Props
- Use of Equipment – Studio lighting and one coloured backdrop are included in your booking. Additional backdrop colours are available for a fee.
- Damage Policy – Any damage to equipment, furniture, or the space itself must be reported immediately. You may be responsible for repair/replacement costs.
Guests & Capacity
- Maximum Occupancy – The studio is suitable for 10 people. Please do not exceed this limit.
- Pets – Pets are not allowed without approval ahead of booking.
Cleaning & Waste Disposal
- Leave No Trace – Please tidy up after your session. Put furniture back in place and dispose of rubbish in the provided bins.
-Spills & Messes – If a spill occurs, please clean it up immediately to avoid damage.
Additional Services
- Workshops & Events – If you plan to use the space for a workshop or event, please message us in advance to discuss setup requirements.
- Large Equipment or Deliveries – If you plan to bring large props or heavy equipment, please notify us in advance to ensure accessibility.
