About this space

Lower Ground Bar is a Bar in The Cocktail Club Bristol Corn Street. The room occupies a secluded lower-ground level that keeps bookings separate from the venue's main trading floor.

Design: The room has a low, intimate ceiling, patterned carpet and deep green walls that frame a long bar counter. The layout pairs leather banquettes and brass-accented fittings with warm, adjustable lighting and narrow proportions.

Features: The space has a long fixed bar counter served by venue staff, high stools, banquette seating and freestanding high tables that can be arranged for standing or seated layouts. The space includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning and provides wheelchair access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Groups seeking a lively, music-led private room for social standing receptions and relaxed, informal seated gatherings.

What sets it apart: An in-room PA and permission to play your own music create a private dancefloor environment for hosted parties.

What guests say: The space has a lively atmosphere and an attractive interior.

We had a fantastic time at the cocktail club which we booked for our engagement party. The space is private and tucked away which was great, perfect size for our party (50 guests) and staff were all very friendly. Great easy communication with Amy who organises everything :) we would definitely book again for future events!

The toilets in the venue itself were not great - lots of sick in there by 7pm when we arrived ! Would be great if the private space had separate loos.
