About this space

Brown & Bye is a Restaurant, Café and Bar located on the beautiful waterfront opposite the SS Great Britain. We are the perfect venue for you and your guests and our staff specialise in looking after Corporate Events & Celebrations. Our flexible space is conveniently split into 3 rooms - THE WINE BAR, THE MAIN LOUNGE BAR and THE PROJECTION SUITE - with the option of interconnecting them if you need more space. You can hire 1 room, 2 rooms or the whole venue exclusively. Each space comes with an outdoor seating terrace and its own entrance.

We offer a range of food, all served on wooden boards and designed to be shared whilst socialising or working, and we cater for all dietary requirements. Drinks include an amazing selection of wines, cocktails, beers, coffees and juices.

The venue was well placed, perfect for private hire and we enjoyed our event very much. The bar was happy to let us get on with our event to our liking, they hosted us despite the Bristol marathon being on and managed to deliver it on time.
The food was tasty but basic and there was no option for any vegetables or salad which made it a bit tricky to feel like the meal was complete. We weren't able to bring any of our own food either so it was very carb and protein focused. However it was easy and tasty.

Amazing venue in a beautiful part of Bristol, my guests were really impressed and loved the different venue rooms, decor and furniture! All of the staff I encountered during the booking process and on the night were lovely and attentive. The venue had a mix of standing and seating areas, comfortably fit the 40-60 guests that we had. Thank you so much for making my evening feel really special! Would 100% recommend.
