We had a fantastic time at the cocktail club which we booked for our engagement party. The space is private and tucked away which was great, perfect size for our party (50 guests) and staff were all very friendly. Great easy communication with Amy who organises everything :) we would definitely book again for future events!
The toilets in the venue itself were not great - lots of sick in there by 7pm when we arrived ! Would be great if the private space had separate loos.

Amy was very efficient and got back to me in a timely fashion. She also chased me when I forgot to get back to her, which was appreciated
The venue put us in the wrong room, which caused a lot of issues and delayed our event.

Great room for a party, great ambience and lighting, cocktails were amazing and student discount gets 50% off, music was loud and song requests were allowed. Everyone had a great time. Ideal for a 21st venue.
The negotiating of our arrangements and what we were told versus what the bar staff actually did was very misleading. We were told and signed a contract agreeing that we would have the venue until 3am, yet at 1am the bar staff had packed up and closed down the bar and no more orders were allowed to be placed, meaning we had told our guests we had it all night but this actually resulted in people having to leave and go elsewhere. We were also told we would have updated through the night on how far away we were from hitting the minimum spend, verbally instructed by Hayley when visiting the venue for booking it out. However, we weren’t given any updates and at the end of the night they refused to tell us our overall spend, so we still don’t know what our spending was. When we explained the above to the bar staff they told us they don’t do contracts and that we had to leave despite paying a £500 deposit to hire the venue out on our 21st birthdays. It just seems there was poor communication between management and staff as we were told differently to how the night went. Also, we had provided a guestlist and playlist for the staff, neither of which were used much or stuck to., and when we went to request songs that were on our original playlist, we got quite unprofessional told off.
