The control room at Birmingham Studios is meticulously designed for high-level audio production, offering a unique, acoustically-optimized space that comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. At the heart of this room is the Amek Angela 36 Channel Console, a versatile tool renowned in the industry for its warmth and detail, ideal for achieving a precise, high-quality mix. Enhancing the acoustic environment, an 18-tonne stone diffuser has been strategically integrated into the room’s construction, ensuring unparalleled sound isolation and clarity.

The setup includes premium-grade microphones, such as the Neumann U87 and AKG C414, which are industry staples for capturing vocals and instruments with exceptional detail. Signal processing is supported by Avalon and Neve preamps, complemented by a selection of compressors and equalizers that allow fine-tuning every sonic aspect. High-definition Genelec and PMC monitors deliver pristine playback, ensuring that each mix translates flawlessly across different sound systems.
