Beneath Digbeth’s iconic arches, the Mama Rouxs Lounge & Bar offers a stylish and versatile space for up to 150 guests. Designed with an industrial-chic aesthetic, it features bold murals, exposed brick, statement lighting, and layered textures that create a distinctive backdrop for both corporate and social occasions.

Ambience & Layout
Soft seating areas and cocktail tables provide a relaxed yet polished atmosphere, ideal for networking events, brand launches, drinks receptions, or private socials. The layout flows naturally into the yard and main room, allowing it to work as a standalone hire or as part of a larger multi-room event.

Sound & Atmosphere
Equipped with a Martin Audio sound system and DJ-ready setup, the space can flex between background ambience and a full party environment. Lighting can be changed to suit mood and theme, creating an adaptable canvas for any occasion.

Bar & Hospitality
A fully staffed bar offers cocktails, premium spirits, wines, and locally sourced beers, with service designed for efficiency and scale. Catering is available through Baked In Brick, from pizzas and buffets to bespoke menus.

About Mama Roux's

Mama Rouxs and the neighbouring Club Colette beneath the iconic arches of Digbeth's creative quarter have one of the most unique and versatile event spaces that Birmingham offers. Together, they combine bold character and infrastructure to serve any purpose-from brand activations to conferences, live showcases, and immersive experience-based occasions to private parties.

The main room in Mama Rouxs holds up to 300 people and is dramatic in every sense. It has high ceilings, a large stage, striking lighting, and balcony views. The space is production-ready in every sense possible with Martin Audio sound systems, a full lighting rig, and AV support. It is also somewhat flexible in seating options with standing and seating arrangements. Having a huge bar, hospitality for producers, catering partners all ensure effortless hospitality. Although the adjacent lounge and bar space accommodate 170 people, it is the perfect industrial chic setting adorned with murals, soft seating, and a fully staffed bar for receptions, mixers, and private hires in smaller numbers. The covered 'Yard' space flows seamlessly between both rooms and proudly hosts 300 guests with festoon lighting, greenery, and flexible layouts for outdoor activations, breakout spaces and the perfect place for street food vendors etc.
