AstroLab is an independently owned 3,800 SF soundstage studio that specializes in providing Studio Space and in-house Equipment that are functional, well-maintained, comfortable and inviting. Our small team provides you with Boutique Services, meaning we adapt to you and your project’s specific needs.
In addition to the 3,800 SF stage, all bookings include a kitchen & lounge, hair and makeup room, a change rooms w/ensuite, a green room space, and more— that's a total of 5,450 SF!
The studio (3,800 SF) and support spaces (1,650 SF) are ideal for commercial and corporate productions, music videos, digital content, photo shoots, and events!
Ample parking on-site (larger trucks and trailers also welcome!), WiFi and power are included with all reservations.

We carry an extensive list of Continuous and Strobe Lighting and accessories, including ARRI and Matthews, Profoto and Broncolor, Manfrotto and more!

This will give you a full day in Studio with all the support spaces and included extras as noted above.
Shoot days are 13 hours.
NOTE: Cyc-floor comes as-is, see below for fresh paint add-on.
*Overtime rate is $250/Hour for the first three additional hours and $300/hour for the fourth hour and beyond.
Prep/Wrap Day
$1,650/Day
Includes all the same spaces and goodies you get on a shoot day. Prep/Wrap days are 10 hours.

Studio Space Lighting Package
$500/Day
x8 Chroma-Q Bi-Colour LED Space Lights, pre-hung in grid to light the cyc and room. Dimmable/colour temp adjustable from the floor with included DMX console.
All-Inclusive Gear Package
$1,500/Day
This package is for Motion/Continuous Lighting, and is our in-house, all-you-can-use, if-you-see-it-it's-included, gear package! It includes an astronomical amount of LED and tungsten lighting, doorway dolly & track, frames & fabrics, stands, hardware, flags, apple boxes and more to support your production, for one incredibly low flat rate.
Pre-Light Day Rate = $1,150
Fresh White Floor in Studio
$325-$$$
Need the floor to be crisp white? Add this, and it will look brand new when you arrive for your shoot.
Starting at $325 for a 35x35' section. Paint more as needed.
Please note that the floor comes "as-is" if this is not added to your booking.
Custom Paint Job

Want to make the cyc a different colour altogether? No problem! Let us know your colour and we'll get you a quote. Work is done overnight before your load in, so prep time is not required!
