The 1200-square-foot live room in Studio A is a marvel of acoustic design. With full isolation, an impressive ceiling height of over 19 feet, and a striking skylight that brings in natural light, this space delivers an inspiring atmosphere and exceptional sound. For larger productions, enjoy the convenience of a drop-down projection screen, perfect for playback and review.
The control room offers clear sightlines to the two iso booths and live floor, centered around an SSL 4056 E/G console (54 mono + 2 stereo channels) with Total Recall and automation capabilities, maintained in pristine condition. This setup is complemented by a spacious plasma HDTV screen and five rack bays of outboard gear neatly positioned beneath an expansive producer's table. A luxurious leather couch and club chairs provide a comfortable backdrop for relaxed listening and collaboration.
For monitoring, the control room features PMC BB6-XBD main monitors, along with PMC AML-2 near-field monitors, available in 5.1 surround. The studio’s prized Fazioli 7' grand piano, selected by jazz legend Herbie Hancock and master piano maker Paolo Fazioli, brings a distinct, resonant quality to any recording. Musicians and producers alike find its sound truly captivating.
Studio A’s private lounge is designed with comfort and functionality in mind. With two large couches, two dining tables with chairs, and a well-equipped kitchenette featuring a microwave and toaster oven, this lounge is an ideal space to relax or refocus. A spacious bathroom with a shower, a large HDTV screen, and a PMC surround sound system round out the amenities, creating a comfortable retreat between sessions.
