About this space

Situated in a magnificently ornate building, the historic moulded ceilings and walls of The Studio make for a wonderful environment full of character, with a modern and premium fit-out to make the ultimate versatile space. The 13.5m x 13.5m studio, one of Sydney's largest and only studios in a square dimension, is situated on the first floor and is drenched in natural light.

The studio features full-length mirrors across one wall, professional-grade tarkett and sprung floors. Additional amenities include a QSC audio system with 3.5mm aux input and Bluetooth, 3-phase power, LED (RGBW) lighting with a DMX controller, truss rigging, making the space capable of even the biggest productions and shoots. The Studio has exclusive access to three bathrooms and a private, breakout Green Room complete with a fridge, microwave and sink. This studio space is perfect for your next dance rehearsal, masterclass, event, launch, showcase, photo or video shoot.

No, the theatre has been removed and the space is set up only as a rehearsal studio. Performances can be accommodated, but chairs must be brought in; only basic lighting and sound are included, while rigging is available if additional equipment is brought in.

No. The venue is on level 1 and, although it is a beautiful 150-year-old space, it has no lift and is accessible only via stairs.
