Welcome to The Collaborative Maroubra — a light-filled, ocean-facing studio designed to inspire calm, creativity, and connection.
STUDIO HIRE INCLUDES
Private use of the entire space (2-hour minimum hire)
Full use of our high-quality yoga and meditation equipment:
20 blocks | 18 bolsters | 10 mats | 32 blankets | 20 straps | 20 eye pillows | 8 meditation chairs
Air conditioning for your comfort
Access to a kitchenette (sink and kettle)
Floor-to-ceiling ocean views that’ll take your breath away
Please note: Studio hire does not include promotion or advertising through The Collaborative.
NOT SUITABLE FOR
Any event requiring shoes (we are a shoe-free space)
Burning sage, incense, or anything that produces smoke (our detectors are very sensitive)
Ingesting herbs, mushrooms, or medicinal plants - strictly prohibited
Violations may result in liability for related costs.
INVESTMENT
$95 per hour + GST (minimum 2-hour hire)
$150 refundable security deposit (refunded once the studio is left exactly as found)
Hire time must include your set-up and pack-down

Allowed events
Host rules
Nothing can be lit in the studio, No incense, sage, palo santo, etc. It will ignite the smoke alarm and call the fire brigade.
After hire the studio needs to be left as found:
Please turn the air con off.
Sweep the whole floor and clean any marks.
Props are to be neatly put away.
Lights off.
Rubbish is taken with you.
Curtains and desk replaced as you found them.
Keys are to go back in the safe.
If the space is left in an unsatisfactory condition that requires additional cleaning, the hirer will be charged for any cost of additional cleaning.
Signs may not be displayed or affixed to any facility by hirers except with the permission of the owner.
Drawing pins, nails, screws or adhesive tape must not be used on the walls or floorboards.
The hirer is responsible for any breakages, theft, or damage caused to the space or the equipment resulting from the hirer’s use of the space.
