The Ground Floor Main Bar is a Bar in the Burdekin Hotel; a low‑ceilinged, timber-fronted main bar defined by vivid club-style lighting.
Design: The bar presents a compact floorplan anchored by exposed timber beams and a long wooden service counter. Layered decorative details include dense shelving, hanging plants and low pendant lights that create a textured, intimate interior.
Features: The bar provides an on-site PA system and fixed speakers, venue Wi‑Fi and a permissive music policy that allows own music and bring-your-own DJs. The layout includes an open area that functions as a dance space and a fully stocked back bar for service.
Ideal for: Groups seeking a lively, social standing reception with room for dancing and casual bar service.
What guests say: The bar's staff are consistently helpful during event planning and on the night. The bar's air-conditioning can struggle on very hot, crowded evenings.
Guests under 18 are not allowed
No smoking in the building.
