About this space

Tavern Main is a private Bar area in Fortress Sydney centred on an enclosed, timber‑panelled booth with curved banquette seating that creates an intimate, contained space.

Design: The interior is compact and low‑ceilinged, combining dark carved timber screens, muted upholstered seating and a patterned carpet under warm, low‑level lighting. The room feels enclosed and intimate rather than open-plan, with decorative timber detailing and a single focal wall feature.

Features: The room includes a PA system and speakers that support private playlists or an external DJ. The space permits own music and provides a small cleared area suitable for dancing. The room also has Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, step‑free access and accessible toilets.

Ideal for: Small social groups seeking a relaxed, music-led private gathering that combines casual seated conversation with space for dancing.
