About Claremont Teahouse
Claremont Teahouse is a Trusted Tagvenue Partner, validated by the Tagvenue team with a record of successful bookings on the platform.
Claremont Teahouse is a teahouse that combines a focused tea programme with small-scale cultural programming.
Venue highlights: The interior centres on a counter service tea bar and a pastry display that support tasting menus and afternoon‑tea formats for private bookings. A small cinema and a rotating gallery create self-contained areas that can be used for private screenings or curated exhibitions. In‑house catering supplies large cakes, bagels and savoury bites and staff coordinate event service; an accessible parking spot is available for guests with mobility needs.
Best for: Tea tastings and afternoon‑tea workshops; private film screenings and small cultural presentations; intimate cake‑and‑tea receptions.
Location: Eldon Place sits in a compact commercial area with nearby shops and cafes, giving guests straightforward options for pre- or post-event refreshments.
What guests say: The tea selection is extensive and consistently well prepared. The service is attentive and organised, and the in‑house catering reliably delivers generous cakes and fresh savoury items.
