Katherine Low Settlement is a charity that has been serving the communities of Battersea and Wandsworth in London since 1924.
We have Function Rooms for Hire at £ 26.00 per hour and are suitable for a variety of events including:
* Childrens' Birthday parties (all bookings must finish by 22.00 hrs (10.00pm)
* Suitable for Conferences
* Suitable for Meetings
* Suitable for Christenings & Baby Showers
* Suitable for Film sets
* Suitable for keep fit classes / rehearsals
* Suitable for Children's Parties
We are a perfect venue to hire for all type of events.
Our large rooms can accommodate up to 70 people
Wifi codes can be provided
We can hire out a sound system and projector
All of our rooms come with a set amount of tables & chairs
Good transport links and we are easy to find - controlled parking zone ends at 4.30pm Monday to Friday and is free to park during a weekend
Please note we sometimes hire our rooms to more than one group
We do not hire out our kitchen - self catering is encouraged
We provide caretakers to assist during weekends

Plenty of space, and we were able to decorate as we pleased! Music system was good. Perfect for my event.
Tea and coffee facilities were down a couple of flights of stairs in the kitchen, not a huge problem but worth knowing.
Great venue and good communication from Cassie to book very last minute!
We were holding a fun sports day for our staff which was meant to be outdoors but due to the awful weather we had to find somewhere indoors two days prior to the event! The room worked well for the competitions and the facilities were good.

Perfect location for any small event. Venue manager made the booking process very easy. I had no issues whatsoever. I will definitely book again.
If you hire the chapel room, prepare to walk up 2/3 floors of stairs, as it’s right at the top of the building and there are no lifts. Room can get very warm - I would recommend installing an AC, wall fans are not effective enough on a hot summers day
I like the venue and the location. not too far from the bus stop, my guests located it pretty easily. The surroundings and kitchen was neat. There was another group there at the time i had my event but we could hardly hear them.
There is no lift access in the property and having held my event on the second floor, it was a great hustle to send food, water, drinks upstairs. The decoration team complained bitterly about this issue.
The feedback from the guests is that they had no problem with the facilities. The room served it's purpose for holding a network meeting of people.
My main point though is that the staff were great on the day. They were really useful and helpful in guiding people to the room and helping refill and bring up the hot water canisters. They were really friendly as well which we all thought and agreed on.
In terms of myself arranging the booking of the venue the staff were again incredibly useful and made the process really clear and straight forward. Everything I had requested was there on the day.
About 4 weeks prior I needed to alter my booking to add another hour to the hiring, which they had no problem with and were able to do it straight away with no problem.
The cost of the venue to hire is also good for value, considering how great the staff were and the venue was easy to find from the train station.
Would definitely recommend to anyone and will consider hiring again in the future if another of these network meetings are held in London.
space was great , amount of chairs and tables were perfect
room is rather cluttered seeing as there are other objects in the room that cannot be removed such as the pool and table tennis table
Good size, sufficient for party, happy with it.
Feel like the facilities could be upgraded for example the chairs and table felt like we were in a school. Also I feel like the hall could have been tidied up before me. There was still writing on the board from the previous session and some mess on the floor which I had to clean after as I didn’t want that associated with me and then having to lose my deposit. Also lighting in the hall was quite dangerous getting to the ground floor at night time. Feel that should be installed.

The only thing the place I wanted on first place it was not available. It was another hall the one I hired.
The team at the venue were great and always responsive and helpful. It was well priced and the perfect size, I was able to fit 64 seated and still had some room to spare.
The room was large and tidy, had all the chairs and tables we needed. Was perfect for our event. The rates were really reasonable and our deposit was returned promptly. Booking process was straightforward and communication with the venue in advance was smooth with no issues.
The toilet facilities could use some improvement and there is no lift to the second floor where the room is located but we were made aware of this when booking.
Booking process was really straightforward. The room was perfect for kids party. The weekend caretakers were so helpful. Really good value.
There were no negatives
Everything went well. Caretaker was there and assisted with chairs and tables for the children. Was perfect.
