Johnny was SO kind and helpful, literally the best host we could have asked for. His staff went above and beyond to make our guests happy and comfortable. They even helped us accommodate last minute requests. Food was delicious, drinks were amazing with so many options. Perfect vibe for a casual happy hour for the team! 10 out 10 for us, we will definitely book here again!

What's not to like here?!

The bartender was an awesome guy, kept up with 40+ people all night. Owner was accommodating and willing to be flexible. Great drinks, food, and atmosphere.

Some other staff member plugged in his music and speakers and started blaring music incredibly loud. Like ear-shattering loud. When asked to turn it down by host, he turned it up instead. Got angry and swore at host when host tried to turn down music on speaker because other party members were asking host to turn it down/off. Many people thought venue was trying to kick us out because the music was so loud. Very rude of that staff member.

Johnny is so flexible and easy to work with. Brendan the bartender was level-headed and made great drinks all night! The space is huge and has a great sound system, the food was good, and the location was easy to get to!

I love the venue and staff! Catered to my needs, plenty of room, the food was a generous amount. Very happy. Will likely book again.

We offer a casual & lively atmosphere sprawled across our main dining room, full bar, romantic upstairs lounge & outdoor dining area. Toy Soldier is located within the famous Belden Alley in San Francisco's Financial District. Both metered and hourly parking are available in the district, and we are only a few blocks away from several Muni lines & BART.

We're serving up fun, military-inspired specialty cocktails and a wine program emphasizing Northern California. All libations have a focus on small producers and growers - our regional rotations will explore all the best California has to offer.

Most importantly, we're offering up our pride & joy, our home-made beer - Toy Soldier IPA, brewed on-site in our brewery downstairs below the bar.
