The Canteen at Toy Soldier

About this space

The Canteen is a Bar in Toy Soldier and a booth-lined lounge organised around a long central counter that structures the room into separate social zones.

Design: The interior features dark timber panelling and patterned wood walls. The lighting is low and warm and a reflective ceiling helps maintain an intimate, dim atmosphere.

Features: A full-service bar supplies on-site drinks. A PA system and wall speakers allow amplified sound, and the room permits own music or a hired DJ. Wi‑Fi, air conditioning, natural light and a step-free, wheelchair-accessible entrance complete the practical facilities.

Ideal for: Friend groups or small work teams seeking a relaxed, social space for seated meals or standing drinks.

What sets it apart: Direct access to a private patio provides an outdoor extension for drinks and fresh-air breaks.

What guests say: The space provides attentive, efficient service and well-regarded drinks. The room's lighting tends toward the dim side and creates an intimate feel.
