About this space
Our entire space is available for exclusive rental on a Saturday. That gives you the bar area, the back room, the outside patios, and the kitchen. For up to 200 people.
You can decorate and have music entertainment, security, and catering. On nights and weekends, there is plenty of parking nearby. We can build it as you like.

Host rules
We allow children and young adults before dark, afterwards 21 and older. We have an entertainment permit for music, but like all SF venues, we have a db meter since we have neighbors and windows. We are not a huge nightclub. We will work with each event on a case by case basis based on the type and scope of the event.

Mars Bar Restaurant, located South of Market, In San Francisco, is a great place to host your event both large and small. Our back area can be configured in many different ways to host bands, DJs, birthday parties, celebrations of life, banquets, and more!
We have two huge outside patios. One garden patio and an even larger space under the big top tent can be designed from casual to elegant. We are very flexible and super easy to work with. Just let us know what you would like to do. Thanks!
