Back Room Area at Mars Bar Restaurant
About this space
The size of this room is 15’x27’. It seats 30 people. Comfortably standing for 75 people though we pack in more for some of our DJ events. This room has a really great, professional EAW sound system with Pioneer DJ equipment.
We have also done small bands. We cover the pool table as the DJ booth and also as a serving table for banquets and celebrations. It is a very versatile room.

Host rules
We allow children and young adults before dark, afterwards 21 and older. We have an entertainment permit for music, but like all SF venues, we have a db meter since we have neighbors and windows. We are not a huge nightclub. We will work with each event on a case by case basis based on the type and scope of the event.

Mars Bar Restaurant, located South of Market, In San Francisco, is a great place to host your event both large and small. Our back area can be configured in many different ways to host bands, DJs, birthday parties, celebrations of life, banquets, and more!
We have two huge outside patios. One garden patio and an even larger space under the big top tent can be designed from casual to elegant. We are very flexible and super easy to work with. Just let us know what you would like to do. Thanks!
