About this space

Casa Pomelo is a private space in a Cocktail Bar at Escape To Freight Island. The room is separated from the main hall by heavy curtains to create a contained, private lounge.

Design: The interior uses deep blue lighting and a bold two‑tone graphic mural, topped by a canopy of small fairy lights that read as a low, intimate ceiling. The overall impression is compact and visually focused rather than open-plan.

Features: The room includes Wi‑Fi and air conditioning, fixed small tables and mixed seating that can support both standing and seated layouts. The space is wheelchair accessible and provides accessible toilets plus a step‑free guest entrance.

Ideal for: Small groups seeking a relaxed, social spot for drinks and conversation that benefits from a contained, music-friendly layout.

What sets it apart: Casa Pomelo has an in‑room PA and permits hosts to bring their own DJ for bespoke music programming.

What guests say: The space is lively and busy at peak times and suits music-driven events. The room is supported by professional on-site staff and visible security during busy periods.
