Space features
Mowgli Street Food Edinburgh is a street-food restaurant housed in an ornate former bank building; its defining quality is the preserved period interior of the dining spaces.
Design: The dining room pairs dark wood panelling and high, leaded bay windows that admit abundant natural light. Low pendant and fairy lighting, exposed masonry and a mix of banquette and freestanding tables create intimate sightlines within the tall, vaulted space.
Features: The venue provides built-in PA speakers and the option to play your own music. The space includes air conditioning and venue-wide Wi‑Fi, and large windows supply natural daylight during daytime events. The layout uses movable dining furniture to accommodate both seated service and more informal standing circulation.
Ideal for: The venue suits friends or colleagues seeking relaxed, social seated dining or an informal standing reception in a characterful, historic interior.
What guests say: The venue combines highly praised food, attentive service and an admired historic interior that guests repeatedly highlight.
